in a catalog that I received in the mail. (I do not remember which catalog. Sorry!) I thought it was a great idea, so I ordered one off of Ebay. I hoped that it would make slicing and chopping onions a lot easier.Unfortunately, it didn't. Part of the problem lies in that when it holds the onion (or tomato or whatever) the two sides are no longer parallel which changes the angle of the knife cuts. In fact, on some of the slices you can't line up the knife at all!
Bottom line: don't waste your money!
